Must read

King Charles has arrived in London this morning alongside Queen Camilla.

The monarch was pictured waving to well-wishers from his car as he made his way to Buckingham Palace.

It comes just eight days after the Palace announced that the monarch had been diagnosed with cancer.

Last week, King Charles shared a public message regarding his cancer diagnosis.

In a message posted on the Royal Family’s official website, the King said: “I would like to express my most heartfelt thanks for the many messages of support and good wishes I have received in recent days.

“As all those who have been affected by cancer will know, such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement.”

The King also revealed why he chose to tell the public about his cancer diagnosis.

Charles III said: “It is equally heartening to hear how sharing my own diagnosis has helped promote public understanding and shine a light on the work of all those organisations which support cancer patients and their families across the UK and wider world.

“My lifelong admiration for their tireless care and dedication is all the greater as a result of my own personal experience.”

On Sunday, Amazon removed several books from its platform that were said to have been written by Artificial Intelligence after concerns that they contained false information about King Charles’s recent cancer diagnosis.

Buckingham Palace stated any books speculating about the King’s diagnosis and treatment are “intrusive, insensitive and filled with inaccuracies”.

The Palace added that the Royal Family’s legal team will be “looking at the issue closely”.

The books speculated about which type of cancer King Charles was diagnosed with, despite the King not stating publicly which type of cancer he has.

A spokesman for Buckingham Palace urged any “organisations facilitating their sale to withdraw them immediately”.

Amazon confirmed it has removed the titles that “violated our content guidelines”.

An Amazon spokesman said that the company invested “significant time and resources” in monitoring and removing titles that breach its content guidelines.

The spokesman added: “While we allow AI-generated content, we don’t allow AI-generated content that violates our content guidelines, including content that creates a disappointing customer experience.”
